Collaborative Working and Shared Services

Finding cashable savings gets increasingly more difficult as time goes by. For many, new sources of savings have to be found through shared services and collaborative working. Unfortunately, many of the areas that appear to be prime candidates for collaboration fail when the business case is prepared. SPS has been involved at the forefront of collaborative working and shared services, for example at both the Procurement Agency for Essex and the London Centre for Excellence. These techniques only work in a number of areas and much effort and resource can be wasted in pursuing the shared service or collaboration agenda if the business and cultural conditions are not right.

For an informal view of whether you have the right project to pursue, Contact Us and we can give you an early indication if your project is likely to succeed.

We have also done extensive work in Supplier Relationship Development which takes collaborative working to a new level. More information will be made available in a new White Paper available on our web site in 2008.
